Pet Allergies, is there an answer?

One of the most misunderstood and detrimental problems(next to Cancer) is pet allergies. Statistics show more pets are PTS due to allergies than any other problem. These days we have the 'allergy testing' & everyone is trying to avoid all the foods that their pet is shown to have allergy to. Everyday in our store we hear, 'my pet can't have this or that'. Despite allergy testing and attempts to avoid allergenic foods, this approach is costly and doesn't address the root issue. Your pet is STILL allergic. Avoiding allergens is only a band-aid approach, tiptoeing around the what's causing the problems in the first place. It's CRAZY that vets haven't figured out the answer and there is a need for better solutions!
WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THE ANSWER?
I know from my own belief/faith, research and seeing results that the body is designed to heal itself and to stay in a healthy state. Bottom line, God built a recovery system in the body to heal itself. Cuts are closed and heal over as if nothing happened, our immune systems are continually working to keep our bodies in as close to original design as possible. We really don't have to intervene in the body processes, it knows exactly what to do. But the body DOES NEED THE RIGHT INPUTS, it NEEDS proper nutrition. So why are pets continually sick, allergic to seems 'everything' and not healthy with all of the medical interventions these days? Because vets are trained to intervene with compartmentalized band aids and pharmaceuticals. News Flash, Pharmaceuticals can't heal. IF they could, we wouldn't be in the mess our pets are in now. They can't give long term permanent healing of the chronic systemic issues. Vets can give a steroid to stop the itching, but that doesn't last and you have to continue to go back for another shot making the disease worse in the long run. It never heals the actual chronic root issue. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing vets, they fill a very real need, but have we gotten so far off the path of true natural health that we no longer know how to keep our pets(let alone ourselves) healthy? We've given our vets so much trust to fix the problems, but the problems are only getting worse.
So what can be done? We have to get back to the holistic natural way of raising and caring for our pets. And believe me, it's a whole lot cheaper and easier to keep a pet in a healthy state than it is to wait on symptoms and try to fix it. If you have a new puppy or kitten, the absolute best thing you can do for that pet is to start off right. If you have a pet that is sick and your tired of the band aids not working, it's time to take a step back begin to learn the natural way to heal and get your pet into a healthy state. Picture that day when you no longer have to run to the vet for another shot, another pill, and the day you can both enjoy a happy, healthy, terrific life.
The number one first step, will be to start your pet on a species appropriate raw food diet. It's what they were designed to eat and their bodies know exactly what to do with the proper fuel. Just this one step will bring down inflammation tremendously. Any dog or cat on dry kibble food is in a state of inflammation, period. It's only a matter of time before the body is sending alarms out to alert that there is a problem. Redness, itching, hair loss, anxiety, it's all a part of the body's alarm system letting you know there is a major problem. Once you're feeding the correct fuel, you can begin to work on the root cause.
The Second Step, the number two issue and root of all disease is going to be an unhealthy gut. Everything stems from the gut, EVERYTHING! Getting the gut healthy is the next biggest step you have to take. Gut health starts with the right fuel, and rebuilding with species appropriate Pre/Probiotics. Not all probiotics are the same. Bovine probiotics may be great for cows and decent for humans but won't survive the dog's acidic stomach. Probiotics have to make it INTO the gut before they can do their magic. They have to be able to survive and then proliferate. They need their own perfect food, just like your pet does.
The gut needs healing as well. If your pet has allergies, then particles of food are getting into the bloodstream from the gut and the immune system sees those particles as invaders, thus the 'Allergic' reaction. Commonly referred to as 'Leaky Gut Syndrome'. This is where The Leaky Gut Protocol by Adored Beast comes in.
